*Saturdays @ Nietzsche's 4-7:30PM232 Allen Street - this is an instrumental irish seisun - tunes tunes tunes, with intermittent singing *2nd Sundays @ The Glen Park Tavern 2-5PM 5507 Main Street (Williamsville) - go around the table - tunes, songs, dirty stories, poems, free beer *3rd Sundays @ The Buffalo Irish Center 6-9PM Abbott Road in south Buffalo - sponsored by the local branch of Comhaltas Ceoltori Eireann *Monday evenings - Ulrich's Tavern - 7ish? Washington Street in Buffalo - this is primarily a singers' session, but they love to have the odd tune here and there, and I know any and all newcomers would be welcomed with open arms. The Martin Wynne branch of Comhaltas Ceoltori Eireann offers scholarships for local musicians interested in receiving tuition at one of the irish music summer schools/festivals. Check it out! |
